I absolutely love it! Buy it now!!! you won't regret it. I'm training for a marathon and it's just excellent for tracking your progress. A few more features on the Nike+ website would be nice, but the band itself is awesome.Reviewed by Lee Crockford on 09/09/2008(Customer) |

Hmmn, great basic product - frustrating to calibrate correctly & doesn't seem to hold the info for long (I did the same 5 mile course everyday for a week recently & the distance measured started at 4.89 on my first run & ended as 4.53 on my last one). Also, after just under 200miles, mine has packed up, so big doubts as to durability - even though it looks simple & nowt can go wrong. Its flash memory after all & easily open to corruption. I cleared mine of sweat after every run. Stored it in its case at all times...then it simply stopped recording. A great pacing device once calibrated but don't rely on it for accuracy.Reviewed by Lee Bratley on 20/08/2008(Customer) |

Can you just buy the band and use it with the nike + sensor that comes with the ipod system? I really like the i-pod one and use it a lot on the treadmill so I can transfer my runs to the pc. But I don't like running to music outdoors because I can't hear traffic etc so this product would be good.Reviewed by Safir Siwle on 15/08/2008(Customer) |

This product is very good. I used it to log a six mile run, and then I went to mapmyrun.com to verify the accuracy of the Nike wristband, and the Nike wristband was accurate to the 1/10 of a mile. Also the Nike + website allows you to compare all of your runs in a bar graph and it has a Facebook widget that you can install with an animated character that gives you feedback (taunts or praise) based on your recent running. Very innovative and good. Watch out for dead pixels on the display, though. I had to return 2 Nike wristbands until I finally got a third one that was not defective.Reviewed by Nmuta Jones on 28/07/2008(Customer) |

I don't own this, but in response to Suzanne's comment, there are now quite a few products on the market that allow you to connect the Nike chip to non-Nike shoes. I am using the chip with my Asics and it seems alright.Reviewed by P H on 21/04/2008(Customer) |

I use the nike+ system with my ipod, the interactive webby stuff is great. I'm really looking forward to getting one of these. I have an pouch (very compact) that attaches to my laces so I can use the system with any trainer I like.Reviewed by Amanda Gopaul on 21/04/2008(Customer) |

Suzanne, if it is anything like the previous Ipod Sport Kit version then it can be used with any shoe. It just requires the sensor to be attached to the shoe by some other means than the space built into Nike+ shoes. Easiest is a shoe wallet, which can then also hold a car key and emergency money!Reviewed by d b on 21/04/2008(Customer) |

This is a great product. Works very well with or without the Nike+ shoes. Good value for money compared to similar offerings on the market.Reviewed by Alex L on 21/04/2008(Customer) |

Suzanne, I haven't seen the sensor but presume it is the same as the original nike+ one and you don't need Nike shoes, you can get a strap that attaches the sensor to the laces of any shoes.Reviewed by Damian Cooper on 20/04/2008(Customer) |

It can be used with any running shoe, for £3-£4 you can buy a small purpose built "pouch" which attaches the sensor to the laces on any pair of runners.Reviewed by Mo Fo on 18/04/2008(Customer) |

I was sold one of these pacebands at the london marathon expo. Although this product seems fantastic and is very well priced, you need to be careful because I discovered after buying it that it cannot be used with any other training shoes than NIKE.Reviewed by Suzanne Bench on 16/04/2008(Customer) |

Best thing yet for pacing. Slim fashionable wristband; easy to read, easy buttons to scroll through the info on the move, no headphones to fallout. Simple technology for free running. And with the ever increasing range of Nike+ shoes and an excellent price its available and affordable for everyone. Fantastic!Reviewed by Gail Pryke on 12/04/2008(Staff) |
